Surrey 2793A: Our client seeks a category specialist with facilities management/property experience for an assignment within its procurement division.

We are acting for a Surrey based local authority

The post will be located in Kingston, KT1 and will be for 36 hpw, Mon-Fri, normal business hours.

This is anticipated to be, initially at least, a 3 month assignment.

Please note that under a special arrangement we have with a leading umbrella company, temps who elect to get paid under this route will receive, in addition to a higher hourly rate of pay, the following benefits which are not available under PAYE:

Essence of role:

This post covers Contract and Quality Management, SIPS purchasing and supply, Contract management And supplier relationship management, Strategies and tendering, monitoring of contract performance, supplier relationship,

Must have Property/Facilities Management background

*Facilities management/property related procurement experience at senior level.

UK local authority or other public sector experience useful, but not essential.
