Job Description

My client, a leader in their industry, is looking to recruit an experienced Producer Performance Analyst to work within their Finance team. Due to the nature of this position, it is vital, that candidates have gained a minimum of two years financial services experience.

This is a brand new opportunity and you will be required to lead, coordinate and implement the company’s pricing policy decisions.

The successful candidate will need to be business orientated and focused, able to analyse and recognise data to ensure profitability is maximised for the company. You must possess strong analytical skills and have the ability to present financial analysis from a business perspective.

As well as being proactive and enthusiastic, with a hands-on approach, you must also be able to communicate to a high level, both in writing and verbally.

You must be IT literate and have achieved a minimum level of Intermediate on Excel, as this role will involve extensive spreadsheet modelling.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

· To implement the company’s pricing policy decisions across all 4 Product divisions but primarily Insurance Premium Finance (IPF) · Assist with / coordinate Producer Net Rate Changes on the Core Transaction System but primarily IPF · Data Interrogation – identification of efficiencies · Investigation of Losses at Segment / Group / Producer / Deal level. · Investigation of Deal Rates below “normal” at Group / Producer / Deal level. · Investigation of Deal Profitability below “normal” at Group / Producer / Deal level. · Undercharging analysis (Minimum Service Charge / Default Charge etc) · Provision of management reporting on segmental product performance. · Performance of post-implementation review of price changes on the underlying book. · Liaising with CEO, CMO, CFO, Sales, Marketing and Business Support areas regarding ad-hoc investigations

Candidates are required to meet the following qualifications:

Required: A related Degree Subject A Level (or equivalent) in mathematics Approximately 8 GSCEs (Grade C and above) or equivalent

Preferred: Prior Analytical experience.
