ROLE You will be responsible for setting functional goals, plans and schedules, closely monitoring execution of initiatives, driving issue resolution, and accepting the responsibility for ensuring successful achievement of program goals. You will deliver value-added Business Intelligence capabilities to the business, including advanced analytics/analytics, multi-dimensional reporting, ad-hoc reporting, and operational reporting etc. Your responsibilities will include:-

• Develop and manage new processes, reports or queries leveraging the BI tools via the use of data marts, data mining tools, languages and scripts.

• Perform analysis, development and evaluation of data mining in a data warehouse or data mart environment, which includes data design, database architecture, and metadata and repository creation.

• Develop standard methods, techniques and process to manage/execute large cross-functional BI initiatives, and apply them to projects, programs and people within your area of responsibility.

• Build a highly effective Business Intelligence Team to support the BI applications and analytics needs of the business, with focus on team work, best BI practice, and partnership with business, cross-functional IT teams.

THE PERSON With a degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or CIMA Financial qualification, you will have extensive, relevant experience in the areas of Business Intelligence. An experienced BI manager with a demonstrated track record in analytical thinking, you will have experience with large BI initiatives, and complicated program planning (Prince2 practitioner status)

You will require a strong knowledge of methodologies, process, and implementation along with experience in complex BI analytics solutions and experience in using the following BI tools: Cognos BI 8.2, SQL, SSIS, SSAS, DTS, Cognos Planning 8.4, VB, HTML, XML, ASP, DOT NET

You will possess exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and be able to present complex ideas and options in a clear and concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences. With the ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload to achieve required timescales
